‘Tonkin’ bamboo is the perfect blend of strength and flexibility for staking plants. If a stake is too rigid, the plants themselves can weaken, but stakes that are too flexible may bend under the plants’ weight and not keep them vertical.  The unique material properties of Tonkin bamboo have made it useful in other products: fly fishing rods, ski poles, and even early aircraft.

*Bamboo is an agricultural product that is grown and not produced in a factory.  Expect some limited variation in stake size, color, and other physical attributes.
